radamsa

Radamsa is a test case generator for robustness testing. It is an attempt to make purely black-box robustness testing more accessible, efficient and eventually more widely used. Given some sample files, Radamsa generates a cannonade of usually malformed data to new files or other desired location. The generated data can be used to test how well a program or appliance can withstand errornous and potentially malicious inputs. The main selling points of Radamsa are that it requires minimal setup to start a test, is easy to use, contains several fuzzing algorithms to maximize the creativity of test cases, and has already been used to find a slew of issues in real-world programs.
