they used a suspended player.

The interesting detail this season was that it saw the birth of one of
EEFL's great players in all times: GK P. Toivonen. That time you got
an MVP for getting at least 5 LP's in a 3-game session and you could
raise SL of a player by 1 with the MVP. A player had to play at least
120 mins in that session to be eligible for the MVP. Well, I got a
3(B) GK in the draft and ended up playing him at least 120 mins in every
session. At the very beginning it was thanks to the suspension of the
starting GK in session B and after that thanks to the reputation OUL got
due winning too much, which made our opponents stall all the way - no
need for a GK. OK, I admit it was really scary to attack with a 3(B) GK
guarding your net, but you gotta gamble sometimes. And it got much easier
after session C, when Toivonen's SL hit double digits. Toivonen capped his
sensational rookie season with 6 saves against the deadly Automata in
the Cup, forcing the mighty Original machine into penalty kicks.
