Nuwan Ferdinand

Postdoctoral researcher


I am currently working as a postdoctoral fellow at University of Toronto with Professor Stark Draper. I received my PhD degree, in the field of Telecommunication engineering, at the Centre for Wireless Communications, the University of Oulu, Finland in 2016. My PhD supervisor was Professor Behnaam Aazhang. I received my master's degree from the Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand in 2011. I completed my B.Sc (Hons) Engineering degree at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka in 2009.

Machine learning, Lattice codes, cooperative communication, Physical layer security, coding theory and information theory.
