TRACKING PEOPLE FROM IMAGE SEQUENCES


Description

In this project, the research is focused on reimplementing, developing and comparatively testing methods for finding and tracking people from image sequences. The goals are to obtain an understanding of the methodologies, pinpointing their strengths and shortcomings, and to create tools for efficiently carrying out this kind of work. This will prepare for attacking the more fundamental problem of finding the people and interpreting their actions from sequences acquired by moving cameras in changing environmental conditions.
