Seminar work: Usability analysis of a given SmartCampus service using a particular usability assessment method
Seminar work is done in the same groups of two students as the design exercise
Required outcome: usability analysis report and slides for a 10 minute presentation
Presentations will be given on 10-12.5.2005
Outcome (report + slides + presentation) is graded (20% of total grade)
Design exercise: Plan and design an interactive service for a mobile user
Design exercise is done in the same groups of 2 students as the seminar work
Design exercise will be introduced on the 1.3.2005 lecture, together with UML primer
Students may choose the service
Topic has to be approved by the assistant
Design exercise is graded (20% of total grade)

Exam: 60% of total grade, min 10 (passed), max 30 points
Seminar work: 20% of total grade, min 1 (passed), max 10 points
Design exercise: 20% of total grade, min 1 (passed), max 10 points
Total: max 50 points, min 20 points required for passing the course
Final course grade is awarded once all three components (exam, seminar work, design exercise) have been passed.
