521419A Computer Engineering II: Spring 2005 - Optional Exercises
Detailed information on how to do and return voluntary exercises will
be presented.
Exercises are voluntary and must be done personally, ie. only one
student is credited per one exercise.
Each exercise is to be returned latest at the mentioned time; after
that the work is not accepted.
Plagiarism is not tolerated in any way.
By completing both exercises it is possible to gain 2 points to
the exam score.
The points are only effective in the exam in the end of this Spring
term. They are not stored and can not be used in other exams.
Exercises MUST be returned by sending a plain-text email to

You may attach one text file (the C source code).
Word attachments etc. will be rejected.
Each exercise is to be returned latest at the mentioned time; after
that the work is not accepted.
Remember to include your full name, date of birth and
the year you started your studies.
- Exercise 1, return deadline on friday 15.4.2005 at 16:00.
- Exercise 2, return deadline on friday 13.5.2005 at 16:00.

If (when) you return code as the answer to an exercise, it is
important to test the program before returning it. All programs must
be written in ANSI-C and they are to be commented properly. Give also
proper explanation of how the program works.
Example answers to the assignments are presented in the lectures and
provided also in this document after the returning deadline.
