Academy of Finland mobility funding to Teemu Leppänen

The Academy of Finland has granted mobility funding to doctoral student Teemu Leppänen from the Interactive Spaces, a subgroup of the ISG.

He will visit Professor Kaoru Sezaki´s group at the University of Tokyo for one year in 2012-13.

The research collaboration will focus on creating new services which utilize sensor networks.

Leppänen´s PhD thesis supervisors are Professors Jukka Riekki and Timo Ojala.

The collaboration between ISG and the Japanese host-University has been active for several years now.

Academy of Finland´s mobility funding is intended to promote the international interaction of Finnish researchers and the internationalization of Finnish research environments.
