Research visit to Carnegie Mellon University

 

Research Scientist Eija Haapalainen has begun her one-year research visit to the Human-Computer Interaction Institute at the Carnegie Mellon University, Pennsylvania, USA from August 1, 2009. Her advisor at the HCII is Prof. Anind K. Dey. The visit will support her PhD studies on time series modeling of large data sets to be used in real world applications, such as industrial production processes. Eija Haapalainen has received the Fulbright-Technology Industries of Finland Grant for accomplishing the visit.
