Where is Levi and how to reach it?

The Conference will take place in Finnish Lapland in village Levi. 

Levi is 170 km north from the Arctic Circle.  The nearest airport is in Kittilä village. It takes 1,5 hours by plane from Helsinki to Kittilä and from Kittilä by bus only 15 minutes to Levi.

You can also reach Levi by train and bus. Trains from Helsinki go to Kolari and Rovaniemi. There is a bus connection from Kolari to Levi, which leaves immediately following the arrival of the train. Bus trip from Kolari to Levi takes  one hour. There are also bus connections from Rovaniemi to Levi and one-way trip takes two hours (NB:don't forget to check the connections!).

What is Levi?

The village Sirkka and the Levi is situated in the valley between Levi and Katka Fells. On the first appearance a visitor sees mainly forests, as many shops and holiday apartments are set back into the forest, off the streets. Everything in Levi is within walking distance.

Levi is the leading winter resort center in Finland, but offers diverse and highquality services and activities for everybody all year around. In the very heart of Levi there are many places and spots of interest to visit.
