Department of Electrical and Information Engineering is the largest department of The University of Oulu. It is part of the largest faculty of the university, Faculty of Technology. The department employs approximately 400 people, of which over 350 are staff involved with research and teaching. There are 31 professors. There are over 2,300 master's degree students and 600 post graduate students in the degree programmes of the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering. Over half of the department's funding comes outside the university budget funding. High quality teaching |
